Welcome to my Blog!

Hi, I'm Sabrina White...that's me to the left...a little cheesy and pretty goofy I know, I'm just much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it!

I have an amaizing husband whom I am in love with and two beautiful boys that I also adore.  Friend me or "like" my page on facebook and you will see tons of pictures of them! So here are a few more things about me...

Not to state the obvious but I LooOOove taking pictures...especially of people...even more specifiaclly of relationships. I have had a love affair with photography since I can remember.

I also LOVE people. No really! I love meeting new people from all over the world and from all walks of life. I love talking with them and learning their stories.  I have visited 10 different countries, lived in 3 of them, and hope to visit many more in the future.

I am also captivated by the love that God has for me in His son Jesus Christ for whom I am eternally greatful.  My husband is my best friend and our son is beyond precious and one of my greatest joys!  I love a good cup of coffee, and given a choice I would choose the mountains to the beach...although most natural settings make me very happy!

There's much more I could share with you but if you check out my blog frequently you'll learn more about me as time goes on.  So I hope what you see makes you smile and appreciate life just a little more...stop by and visit again soon!

P.S.  BIG thank you to J + A Photography for grabbing this shot of me....not only are you great friends but also rockin photographers!  Love you guys!

Air Force Retierment!

I love that I get to be a part of so many special moments in people’s lives; weddings, new births, families laughing and living life together, and moments like this post.  If you have never been to a military retirement you are missing out.  Even if I don’t know the person who is retiring very well I am always filled with such a sense of pride not only to be capturing these important ceremonies and accomplishments, but to be part of this beautiful country.

It is no small accomplishment to have served our country in the military long enough to achieve retirement.  There is always a long list of impressive accomplishments, humorous stories, and a cloud of supportive family and friends who have journeyed with the person who is retiring along the way.  The ceremony is a celebration of dedication and loyalty and is usually a little bitter sweet.  This ceremony was no different. It was an honor to hear about this Master Sergeant and capture the moments as his friends and family laughed and celebrated with him.  Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a small part of this special ceremony! We love you guys!!  Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

His wife sang the National Anthem…..she has the voice of an angel!!!

This is the look of a woman who is proud of her husband…

She looked at him like this the whole ceremony…

I love the way he’s looking at her too….

A special tribute monologue was given by a very talented young man….

He gave a few closing words of gratitude before the reception…

A few ‘formal’ pictures with close friends and family who attended…

I’m going to end this sneak peek with this last series of four photos…. I LOVE these four images :)

Thank you once again for trusting me with these memories.  God bless you and your family as you start another chapter in your lives.

Engagement at a local winery…

This was such a fun session. And I absolutely LOVE that they picked a location special to them and new to me!  Their very first date was to the Duplin Winery in Rosehill, NC.  They enjoyed it so much that they have been back several times since, so when thinking about where to have their engagement pictures done they instantly knew where they wanted them taken.  I had a great time exploring somewhere new and getting to know these two a little better.  And I LOVED witnessing their goofy side!  They were very sweet to one another and fun to photograph. I’ll let their sneak peek speak for itself…..

On to the vineyards…

Did I mention these two love to have fun and laugh…..

Outfit change! They happen to be football fans of rival teams so we had a little fun with that….

Thank you so much Leasa and P….I am so grateful that I had the chance to photograph your love for each other and get to know you a little better!

It’s that time of year….PROM!

I had the privilege of being asked to take PROM pictures this year and it was soooOOo fun for me!  It brought back a lot of memories and I LOVED seeing everyone dressed up their best with their dates! I was asked to photographed several couple from two different nights, two different proms….but there was one thing in common with both nights and both groups of friends.   As you scroll through these pictures you’ll notice a lot more photographs of a certain couple.  There are a several reasons for that.  One, she is the one who asked me to take the pictures so if it weren’t for her I would not have had the opportunity.  Two, she and her date are what was common between both proms.  She attends Wayne Christian and her boyfriend and attends CB Aycock Highschool.  Their proms were back to back and I photographed them with different couples on both nights.  The third reason you will see more of her here is because she is my baby sister!! For those of you who are long time friends and family, I know you’ll get a kick out of seeing these pictures of Kristina!  And and just incase you are curious….this is JUNIOR prom :)

Okay okay, I know you didn’t come here to read about the pictures….you came to SEE them!  So here is a sneak peek from BOTH prom nights.  I have to say one more thing… everyone looked wonderful, but my sister looked especially great both nights! (I might be a little biased though)

This is Kristina’s boyfriend and date, Tyler…..He is a great guy and we all love him!

One of my sister’s beautiful friends….

Another beautiful and good friend of Kristina’s…..

I had to post this one because there is something about the way she was holding her dress and looking down that I just loved. I couldn’t decide if I liked it better in color because her dress was this gorgeous blue or black and white.  I decided to go with classic and timeless…..

Here is a ‘friend’ shot of their dates…. (loved the white tux)

These two gals have been best friends for a long time so I had to get a shot with just the two of them.

I personally love this one….

….and this one!

A quick shot of all the ladies from the group they went to prom with.

Okay, on to the next night and the next prom.  I had quite a bit of time with JUST Kristina and Tyler on this night before we met up with the other couple so that is why there are more pictures of just them.

Love how these next three turned out….it’s very “them”.

After being in heels the whole first night she wore Tom’s the second night….smart girl :)

Hoped everyone enjoyed a peek into this great group of teenagers prom photos. I had fun with them…..can’t wait until SENIOR prom next year!!!
